This is a list of some of the professional, academic activities, community cardiology activities---free cardiac camps and, patient-education activities conducted by Dr.Srinivas Ramaka from June 1999.
A lecture –“KNOW YOUR HEART” was delivered at the Inner Wheel Club Warangal in 1999. This was organised and attended by members of Rotary Club, Warangal.
Awareness Lecture On “HEART” for Morning Walkers In Public Garden, Hanmakonda, Warangal—1999.
A lecture session on “CARDIOVASCULAR DIAGNOSTIC INSTRUMENTS” was delivered at the ISTE-AICTE SPONSORED SHORT-TERM TRAINING PROGRAMME ON “MEDICAL INSTRUMENTATION AND INFORMATICS” held during 5th June to 16th June 2000 conducted at National Institute Of Technology, Warangal. This was conducted for the benefit of engineering teachers in various AICTE RECOGNIZED INSTITUTES OF THE COUNTRY.
The lecture was followed by an interactive session demonstrating various diagnostic instruments in Cardiology at Srinivasa Heart Centre, Hanamkonda, Warangal.
A lecture on “ROLE OF ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY IN PREOPERATIVE EVALUATION” was given on 16-10-2000 on the eve of WORLD ANAESTHESIA DAY. This was attended and organised by MEMBERS OF INDIAN SOCIETY OF AESTHESIOLOGISTS WARANGAL BRANCH.
A free Cardiac camp was conducted on 5/11/00, At Markazi School, organised by Lion’s Club Thousand Pillar’s Temple. This was attended by around one hundred patients.
A FREE CARDIAC camp was conducted at the NURSING HOME of Dr. Sridhar and Dr. Aruna at Jangaon, District Warangal. A.P. India. This was organised by The Lions Club Of JANGAON, Warangal, AP, India.
Delivered a lecture on” CARDIOVASCULAR EMERGENCIES IN CLINICAL PRACTICE” to the members of Indian Medical Association, Jangaon, Warangal. A.P. India.
Participated at the Multi-speciality Health Camp On 23-12-2001 organised by the S.S.K.(KHATRI)SEVA SAMAJ MATWADA,Warangal.

An awareness lecture on “HEART” was given at CKM college, warangal at the Retirement Function Of Dr. Sudhakar Reddy, principal. The Lecture was attended by the staff of CKM College,Warangal, November 2002.
Delivered a lecture on “Evaluation and Management Of Heart Disease In Pregnancy” on 15-12-2002 at the CME programme organised and attended by members of The Warangal Obstetric And Gynaecological Society.
Participated In a free Cardiac Camp conducted by The Brahmin Parishad, Siddipet on 13/04/03.
At Siddipet free cardiac camps were held at Central Jail,Warangal on 17/08/03, 24/08/03,7/09/03, 14/09/03, 28/09/03. Around 400 convicted prisoners and 78 staff members were screened for heart disease during these camps
Participated In The Multispeciality MEGA HEALTH CAMPS organised by Erraballi Jagannatha Rao Memorial Charitable Trust, Wardhannapet, Warangal. Around 600 Persons Were Screened For Heart Disease During These Camps, Which Were Held At The Following Places.

Participated in various live interviews, phone-in programmes, radio-talks for general public conducted by all India Radio,Warangal. The Topics covered various aspects related to heart.
Participated in the free heart check-up camp on 18/12/04 organised by the S.S.K.(KHATRI) Seva Samaj, Matwada, Warangal. A.P., India.
Dr. Srinivas participated in the screening camps for detection of heart disease in children held at MGM Hospital, Warangal on 14/8/04 and 23/8/04
Participated in a free cardiac camp at Thorrur, Dist Warangal, organised by Lions Club of Thorur, Agricultural Market Committee, Rohini Hospital and Nitin Foundation on 17/10/04.
Acted as Resource Person In The Staff Development Programme in “CLINICAL PHARMACY AND PHARMACOLOGY” organised under the sponsorship of All India Council For Technical Education from 17/01/2000 to 30/01/2000

12/11/2006--Participated in a Free Cardiac Camp and Exhibition on Heart at Godavarikhani-organised by Sathyasai Seva Samithi. Around 100 persons were screened for heart disease in this camp. Apart from this, All Mentally Handicapped Inmates of “MANOCHAITANYA” were screened for heart disease.

2007—A Free Cardiac Camp And An Awareness Exhibition –“KNOW YOUR HEART” was held at the Z.P.SCHOOL, Khilashapuram on September 30, World Heart Day 2007.
2008—World Heart Day—Release Of the Book—“MEERU—MEE GUNDE”
Understanding the need for a systematic community training program on CPR, a CPR training program was conducted on 26/04/2009 at Srinivasa Heart Centre. Around 100 members of the community in Warangal, Andhra Pradesh, India which included people from all walks of life—employees of various government departments—police, electricity, revenue, telephone, Roads and Transport, railways, judiciary, schools, lawyers, staff from banks, members of the pharma industry, press, school and college students attended this program. A PowerPoint presentation on Sudden Cardiac Death, principles of CPR was delivered by Dr.Srinivas Ramaka in the local language –Telugu. Demonstration of Hands-Only CPR using mannekin and demonstration of an AED was given to the attendees. This is the first program on CPR for lay public initiated by Srinivasa Heart Foundation.

WHD 2010 ACTIVITIES
A health survey of all employees in Warangal is initiated as part of the work place wellness programs from 2009. A questionnaire is distributed to employees of different govt. and private organizations and survey particularly related to CVD is conducted. Health education lectures also are organized as part of the workplace wellness programs.
Lectures were given to primary health centre doctors, staff of the district medical and health office—warangal, employees of HDFC Bank, Warangal and employees of life insurance corporation of India, Zonal office, Warangal.
Radio-talks—a radio interview on WHD was given to all India radio—Adilabad. This was broadcast on 26 Sep, 2010.
November 14th 2010—Free Cardiology camp and Awareness exhibition on “Heart”

Another program was held on World Heart Day-September 2010 at NRI alumni centre, KMC, Warangal.—attended by around 112 persons.
30 persons were trained in CPR at the free health camp at Parkal.
On May 31, WNTD 2011, CPR training was given to NCC cadets at Ravindrabharathi, Hyderabad.—100.
In Association With Indian Redcross,3 Programs were Organised –2 at The Redcross Building and another at NIT.

Employees of APGVB were trained in CPR in 3 batches.

Conducted a free Cardiac Camp at the Government Hospital, Wardhannapet on World Heart Day 2013. CPR training was also given to the attendees.
